Lesleigh Ann
Parker
October 17, 1939 – September 1, 2018
Lesleigh Ann Parker, 78, of Denton passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Denton. She was born on October 17, 1939 in Bethesda, Maryland to Robert and Catherine (Boose) Smith.
She married the love of her life, Patrick Parker, in 1960 in Ft. Worth, Texas. They loved to go on adventures and raised their four children in Denton, where Lesleigh worked with her husband at his shop and later for Medical Laboratories for many years.
Lesleigh had bright, green eyes, a contagious smile, and a huge, loving heart. Full of fun and laughter, she never met a stranger and frequently gave them rides home or helped them shop at the local stores, even though she didn't work there. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and Mamaw. Her life's work and biggest love was her family -- especially any and all children.
She is survived by her husband Patrick; daughters, Debbie Parker of Denton, Teresa Parker of Ft. Worth, Jennifer Conner and her husband Shawn of The Colony; son, Patrick Parker, Jr. of Pilot Point; and other children, Judy and Paul Ragland; sisters, Vera Jean Rasor of Denton, Frances Lyree Damico of Arlington, VA., sister-in-law, Glenda Cone and husband Dale of Springtown, TX, and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by baby daughter Susan Marie Parker, her mother and father, sister, Ada Duran, brother, Gary Smith and grandchild, C.R. Parker.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from Noon to 2:00 PM. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
