Obituary

Letha (Knight) Miller-Majors, 100, passed away Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 at her residence of natural causes.

Letha was born January 28 th , 1916 in Winnsboro, TX to Daniel T. and Millie Knight.  She married Lowell F. Miller August 14th, 1935 and was widowed in 1941. Letha then married Jessie Majors on August 9 th , 1947 in Pittsburg, TX.  She was a homemaker, hairdresser, Beauty shop owner and also owned a home décor-antique store and was involved with the women's ministry at Winnsboro 1 st Baptist Church where she was a member.  She enjoyed her family and friends and was a doting mother to her son Lowell T. Miller.  He was the apple of her eye.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Wanda Miller of Gainesville, TX; grandson, Mark and wife Teresa McElreath, great-grandchildren Ragon and Reese Anne McElreath  all of Gainesville, TX, nephews, Dennis Wolfe of Denton, TX, David Wolfe of Klamath Falls, OR, Robert Miller of Colleyville, TX and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, son Lowell T. Miller, grandson John Miller, brother Quentin Knight, and sisters Virginia Salmeri and Mildred Elder.

Pallbearers are Carlos Blanco, Mark McElreath, Ragon McElreath, Robert Miller, Dennis Wolfe and John Zier Jr.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday November 12 at 2:00 P.M. at The Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, TX.
