Linda Marie Chapman passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Marshalltown, Iowa to Raymond and Emily Langdon on June 18, 1946. Linda enjoyed teaching, swimming everyday (when possible), making greeting cards with her stamping friends and sending to the troops, going to lunches with friends, searchers class, bible study, reading, and working on crossword puzzles daily. She was always on the go!

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Chapman. Linda is survived by her brother Larry Langdon and sister-in-law Jan Langdon, son Richard Stephens and daughter-in-law Leslie Stephens, daughter Stephanie Shangraw and son-in-law Scott Shangraw, daughter Renee Landers and son-in-law Shawn Landers, grandsons Trevor Stephens and Logan Landers and her dear friend Lorraine LaBard (like a sister!).

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Cole Chapel on Sunday February 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM.  Address is 201 S. Locust St., Denton, TX 76201

Her favorite color was purple for flowers.
