Linda Gail Coon passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, in Krum, Texas. She was born in Delhi, Louisiana, to Wayne and Juanita Milton on March 11, 1947. Linda graduated from Permian High School and attended the University of Miami. In the past, Linda enjoyed writing poetry and dabbling in metal art. She loved 60's music and watching old TV reruns. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of First Baptist Church of Denton, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Coon, her parents and grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors on August 20,2021 at 6:00 pm with visitation at 5:30pm. Interment will be held at Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium in Monroe, Louisiana on August 28, 2021 at 3:00 pm.

Linda is survived by her brother, Les Milton, of Canton, Georgia, nieces Aubrey Myers of Newport, North Carolina and Gracie Milton of Canton, Georgia, great-nephew Graham Myers, aunts Judy Watkins, Billie Parker and several cousins.
