Linda Kay Martin, 81 of Denton passed away surrounded by family on January 18, 2022 in Denton.  She was born in Pampa Texas to Buck Buchanan and Estine Derrick Buchanan.  She married Charles Ray Martin on August 15, 1959. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Whether you knew her as Linda Kay, Momma Kay, Kay or KK, she was a friend to all and a mother to many. She was a loving caretaker her entire life which led to her career as COTA. It was an honor to all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Phillip Nichols officiating.

She is survived by a daughter Kecia Beggs and husband Brad of Corinth and a son Chad Martin and wife Dede of Hamilton MT, 5 grandchildren Ryan Beggs, Katie Rochester, Andrew Beggs, Taylor DeLeon and Kelci Martin and 6 great grandchildren, Haley and Shelby Beggs, Savannah and Addison Baldwin, Carter Beggs and Stella DeLeon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Brent Martin.
