Linda Ruth Morrow Pedigo passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Denton, Texas.

Linda was born in Denton on January 29, 1950 to Reuben and Mildred Morrow. She married Dwayne Lee Pedigo on June 12, 1969 in Pilot Point, Texas.

She graduated from Denton High School in 1968 then went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Education degree at North Texas State University/University of North Texas. Linda was a lifelong educator, serving the students of Pilot Point ISD, Plano ISD, and Willow Bend Academy. She was also happy to assist her nephews, niece, and granddaughter with understanding challenging math assignments.

Linda loved her family and enjoyed gathering regularly on Sundays for family dinners, visiting, and laughter with siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dwayne Pedigo.

Survivors include her daughter Trisha Cope and husband Steven of Pilot Point, her son Brandon Pedigo and wife Angela of Wylie, brothers Michael Morrow and wife Brenda of Krum, Terry Morrow, and Mark Morrow of Denton, sister-in-law Sandra Canuteson and husband Bob of Corinth, grandchildren Michaela Rain Cope and Harmon Maddux Cope, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 from 6PM to 8PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton. Funeral services are scheduled for 1PM SaturdayAugust 7 at the First United Methodist Church in Pilot Point. Interment will follow at Pilot Point Community Cemetery.
