Many knew Linda as Nana. She was a member of Bolivar Baptist Church for over 30 years and involved with the "WOW" Women of Worth women's Bible study group as well as serving on other church committees throughout the years.
Linda was a 1963 graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas. After graduation, Linda began her over 40-year career in the insurance industry specializing in the surety/ fiduciary areas. She worked for Maxson-Mahoney-Turner, Inc. for over 35 years before retirement.
Linda married Buddy R. Gardner in 1964 and together they welcomed their daughter Karen Elizabeth. They later divorced but Linda found the love of her life when she met Carl Spratt in September 1985. Together they shared the next 38 years in the happy God-centered marriage, blending families and welcoming the grandchildren & great-grandchildren who were also the loves of her life.
Linda desired that all her friends and family find salvation and worked to encourage them all to find that peace.
Linda worked diligently to bring her family together and always try to set a good example for all of us to follow. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, mentor, and friend.
Linda will be missed but with our salvation, we will all be together again in heaven!
