Lisa Hackler passed away in Denton, Texas, on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born in Richmond, California, to Robert and Patricia Tolman on May 28, 1965. Lisa was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. To know her was truly to love her. She had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel seen, cared for, and supported. Her kindness was effortless, her laugh was contagious, and her love was unwavering. She especially loved being silly and goofing around with the people she loved, and she could often be found soaking up the sunshine—her happiest place was anywhere she could watch a sunrise or sunset.

She was welcomed into heaven by her father, Robert Tolman; her brother, Barry Tolman; and her brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Billy Hackler.

A celebration of life will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Family and friends are invited to come share memories and honor the beautiful light she brought into the world.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 28 years, Terry Hackler; her daughter, Kadee Hackler; her mother, Patricia Tolman; her stepson, Colton Hackler; her stepdaughters, Krystle Rauschuber and Heather Neeb; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Brinda Hackler; her sister-in-law, Sharon DuBois; her brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Nancy Hackler; and her sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Roxy Hackler; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Her presence, warmth, and laughter will be forever missed, but her love will remain with us always.
