Lisa Aileen Soltero, of Denton, TX passed away Saturday, October, 13, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. Lisa was born in Fontana, CA to Frank Soltero and Frances Duran, who preceded her in death.

A loving and vibrant person, Lisa loved her life, family and friends. Lisa was to be married on November 10, 2012 to her best friend and life partner David Samollow. Lisa's optimistic personality and activities generated many strong friendships within and far beyond the places she lived. She cherished her happy life, aspirations, and relationships with people.

Lisa is survived by her life partner and fiancée David D. Samollow of Denton, TX; grandparents Frank and Holly Soltero of Mira Loma CA, and Delia Duran of Arleta, CA; mother- and father-in-law-to-be Catherine and Paul Samollow of Helotes, TX; brothers Richard Soltero and Robert Soltero of Los Angeles, CA, and sister Avelina Pulido of Bremerton, WA; brother-in-law-to-be Matthew Samollow of San Marcos, TX; aunts and uncles, Florence and Anthony Grande of Colorado Springs, CO, Gayle and Robert Frickel of Bishop, CA; niece Lurissa Soltero Green of Riverside, CA; cousins, Michael Drews of San Jose, CA, Timi Baxter of San Jose, CA, Catherine Anne and Charles Cooley of Westminster, CO, Jennifer and Nate Bellinger of Eugene, OR.

Family and friends will join together for a visitation at DeBerry Funeral Directors Wednesday, October, 17, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A remembrance service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
