Locker Thompson Gallo, 70, passed away at his home in Fort Worth on Monday, September 4, 2017.  He was born December 19, 1947 in Jacksboro, Texas to the late Paul Joseph Gallo and Anita Thompson Gallo. His brother, Gary Samuel Gallo preceded him in death.

Locker was a longtime resident of Denton, graduating from Denton High School.  He went on to earn a degree in Art Education from (UNT) North Texas State University where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.  Locker was a gifted artist. He shared his gift with many students he taught at Perry Middle School in Carrollton in the 1970's. Even after he quit teaching Locker continued to use his gift of art and the Gallo family is blessed to have many pieces of his work hanging in their homes.

Locker is survived by his brother Joe Paul Gallo, wife Sue Unnerstall Gallo; cousin, Jimmy Craig Reeves, nieces and nephews, Travis Gallo, wife Julie and daughter Sophia, Mattie Gale Gallo, Paula Loren Gallo, Jacob Gallo and daughter Harper, Anita Gallo and son Oliver, Belew Gallo and son Caleb.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
