Lois Jeanette Allen, 90, of The Colony, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2017 at home surrounded by family. She was born November 7, 1926 in Itasca, Texas to Jewell and Katy Kirkpatrick.

She worked for Texas Instruments for 32 years as a technician. She was a member at the Grove Haven Baptist Church in Dallas and played for the Adult Ladies Basketball Team becoming a 5 time All Star player. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Thresia Jeannetta Eckols, son, Ronnie Lee Allen and wife Dina,  five grandchildren, Rhonda Park, Tracy Baumgartner, Jason Eckols, Kimberly Clariday, J.D. Allen, eleven great-grandchildren, Joel Brueland, Nathan Brueland, Pypr Brueland, Caleb Baumgartner, Gino Zamora, Zachary Clariday, Jacie Eckols, Avery Clariday, MaKayla Park, Ava Allen, Gaje Allen, two sisters, Precious Sheets and Mary Franklin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Borney LeeRoy Allen, son, Eddie Roy Allen, parents Jewell and Katy Kirkpatrick.

Visitation will be held prior to services, Saturday January 14, 2017 from 11:00-12:30 P.M. Funeral services will began at 1:00 P.M. at Green Valley Baptist Church in Aubrey, Texas with Rev. James David Allen Officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Zack Clariday, Joel Brueland, Nathan Brueland, Gino Zamora, Jason Eckols and Caleb Baumgartner.
