Lorena Lee Balnites, 53 of Ponder, Texas passed away October 3, 2023, at home. She was born November 29, 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roger Dale and Vera Fay Hughes Riley. She attended school at R.L. Paschal High School

She married David Edward Balnites on July 08, 1989 in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was employed by Sally Beauty Holdings where she worked in accounting.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on October 10, 2023, Tuesday evening for visitation 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Laurel Land Memorial Park on Crowley Road in Fort Worth, Texas with Rev. Glen Daniels officiating.

Lorena is survived by her husband David Balnites of Ponder, sons, David Joseph Balnites and Christopher Ryan Balnites, sisters Mary Ellen Reyes and Teresa Berendowski, brother, Roger Dale Riley Jr., and three grandchildren.
