Loretta Jane "Janie" Seymour, 79, of Denton passed away at her home on November 25, 2021. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on July 20, 1942.

Janie was a woman who loved the Lord with all of her heart. Janie also loved her family and friends. As one of her friends stated, "Janie was one of God's favorites". Janie was a woman who was happy when her family was around her, she had a good cup of coffee, and when she could praise and worship to one of her favorite gospel songs. She had so much joy and faith, one could not help but want to sit in her presence. While her family is mourning the loss of our sweet Janie, we take comfort in knowing she is now at her happiest, as she is now living in the presence of her precious Lord and Savior.

Janie is survived by her son, John Dobler and his wife Kimberly of Dover, Florida, Michael Dobler of Dover, Florida, Lee Dobler and wife Brandie of Denton, James Dobler, Roy Seymour and wife Christine of Gordonville, Tx., and Tim Seymour and wife Naomi of Denton Tx., sister, Marie Pruitt, grandchildren, Jessica Lentz, Mickaela Dobler, Johnathan Dobler, Jordan Dobler, Emma Dobler, George Dobler, Bailey Moody and husband Evan, Rachel Tamborini and husband Evan, Ryan Dobler, Chanelle Dobler, Elijah Hundley, Zoe Dobler, Brittany Seymour, April Seymour, Brooke Seymour, Taylor Seymour, Emma Seymour and Timothy Seymour, Jr. Janie is also survived by her former spouse and companion, William Seymour, many extended family and friends, and her precious doggies Beau and Peaches.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Fields and daughter in law, Inge Dobler.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas, with Rev. Glen Daniels officiating.
