Louise R Wilson Johnson, 84 of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. She was born a twin on May 22, 1929 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to William Thomas Wilson and Jane (Jennie) Rees Wilson. She was raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She married Val Arvid Johnson on February 4, 1948 in the Logan Utah Temple and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She resided in Merced, California from 1966 to 2009. She is a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Teasley Lane with Bishop Jeff Wawro officiating. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery on Carroll Avenue.
Louise is survived by her children, Larry (LeeAnn) Johnson, Nancy (James) Anderson, Brent (Sharon) Johnson, Dave (Francine) Johnson, Alan (Janice) Johnson, Corwin (Paula) Johnson, and Paula (Steve) Fredrickson; sisters, Ruth Bingham and Lois Wright; 37 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Val Arvid Johnson; parents, William Wilson and Jane Rees; and brother, William (Bill) Wilson.
