Luis Garcia, 59, of Denton, passed away on September 30, 2020 at his home. He was born in Lamesa, Texas to Panfilo "Pete" and Lucia (Lopez) Garcia on November 13, 1960.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Garcia Ramon of Laredo, Tx brothers, Richard and wife Carolyn Garcia, Ruben Garcia and fiancé, Melinda Avery, Sister Alicia Garcia and fiancé Randy Green, brother in law Ken Swafford, his granddaughter Sarahbela Ramon, 4 nephews, 5 nieces, as well as several great-nephews and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, Robert Garcia and sister, Angelita Garcia-Swafford.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 5-7 PM . Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
