Lum Edward Jacobs passed away February 16, 2013 in Denton, Texas at the age of 72. He was born on June 17, 1940 in Wills Point, Texas to the parents of Malcolm and Cleo Jacobs. He married Phyllis Crow April 2, 1966 in Nocona, Texas. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Jacobs of Denton. Three daughters Karen Preedin of Saint Jo, Laurie Jacobs, Amy Parent and Husband Erik Parent Of Nocona Texas. Three sisters Betty Northcutt and Shirley Yeager both of Fort Worth, and Brenda Tatum of Houston Tx. Two brothers Larry Jacobs of Nocona Tx, and Donnie Jacobs of Houston Tx. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Home on Friday February 22 from 6-8pm for a visitation. A graveside service will be held Saturday February 23, 2013 at High Cemetery in Canton Texas at 2pm.
