Obituary

On September 29, 2024, Lutrichia "Tish" McAdams, Nana, Mother, Daughter and Sister, received her wings and answered the eternal call of our Lord & Savior. She was the youngest of two daughters born to Lonnie J. and Izola Christine Haynes McAdams on November 6, 1946.

Tish accepted Christ at an early age through family legacy established by her late uncle Bishop F.L. Haynes at St. Andrew Church of God in Christ and practiced those Christian values throughout her life. She had a giving heart and showed kindness, support, and love to all she grew to know regardless of their ethnicity. To honor the family of her mother "aka" Mother McAdams and Missionary Christine Haynes McAdams and in her absence, she faithfully donated lilies every Easter to St. Andrew Church of God in Christ. She attended Fred Douglas High School, Denton's all black school, during segregation and was a graduate of the class of 1964.

Her career was extended to employment with Russell Newman, Victor Equipment, Ohio Rubber, and FEMA of which she retired in 2018. Among many things she enjoyed reading, researching, doing crossword puzzles, traveling, cooking, baking, making jewelry, spending time with her grandchildren, and was a Dallas Cowboys Fan (win or lose) and LOVED Dakota "DAK" Prescott!

She is preceded in death by her parents Izola Christine Haynes McAdams and Lonnie J.  McAdams; Aunts Lucy Ivory Price and Zelar Mae Woods; Lena Mae McAdams, Lucille McAdams, and Eunice McAdams; Uncle Gary Lee Haynes; Cousins Burkhart McAdams, Arthur C. McAdams, and Sharon Elaine Ekpe.

Tish will forever be remembered by her loving Daughters Veronica "Vicki" and LaShonda, Granddaughters Kennedy "Kake Delicious", Rhyon "Little Baby", and Skyelar "Skooter", Grandson Paul K (Desean), lifelong partner, Felton Bell (Peepaw), Cousin, Rob Mosley, Bonus Grandchildren: Larisha, Solomon, and Imoni, Friend, Johnathan Bible, Special work daughter and sons Tamara Smith, Robert "Camp" Bowen Jackson Jr., Dujuan Kinney, and Jesus De la Cruz, Sister Jane, host of cousins (Alexanders, Coopers, Haynes, Lucas, McAdams, Rodgers), and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life for Lutrichia will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at St. Andrew Church of God in Christ in Denton.
