Lydia Rivera Garza passed away in Denton, Texas on Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born on March 15, 1944 to Fernando and Faustina Garza. Lydia retired as a  caregiver. She was hard working and always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was dedicated to her family and those whom she loved. Lydia enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her parents, two of her sons, Ramon and Rocky Juarez. Fourteen of her siblings, and her grandson.

Visitation will be held from 12PM to 1PM with a funeral service to follow at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Friday, September 27, 2024. Lydia will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park following the service.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Becerra of twenty two years of marriage. Her sons, Raymond and Rudy Juarez. Her daughter, Rosemary Juarez and 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
