Jerry Lynn Clayton, a Denton native for 81 years, joined our Lord on March 18th, 2024. Lynn was born October 1st, 1942 to Jimmie Dee Luster and Earl R. Luster.

She attended Denton schools and Baylor University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1969 with a Bachelor's in Education.

Lynn went on to teach for many years in the surrounding areas. Later in life, she started two successful women-owned and operated businesses before retiring in 2008. The Yellow Clothes Shack and Express 60 Minutes. She enjoyed traveling and eventually bought a home in southern France. She always had the best stories of her travels.

Lynn was a smart, loving, and caring daughter, mother, nona and friend. She cherished her family and friends.

Lynn is survived by her daughter, Dee Williams, granddaughters, Holly Smolinski and Kelly Hopkins, great-granddaughter, Aurora, and grandson-in-law, Chad Smolinksi.

The service will be held at DeBerry funeral home, April 6th at 2pm.
