Manuel ("Manny") Cortez Aguirre Jr., left us on December 17, 2024, at the age of 60. Surrounded by his family in Denton, Texas, where he passed away peacefully in his home. Manny was born in Big Spring, TX, he grew up in Stanton, TX, he then moved to Denton where he met his wife Beatriz and countless friends. Manny has been a Denton resident for almost 30 years where he became a self contractor, he was the jack of all trades but specialized in home improvement and flooring. Manny was a man of immense humor and wisdom, he was one of a kind. He made an everlasting impression on everyone he met and had a smile that would brighten any room. Manny enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing pool and spending time with his friends and also his grand babies.

Manny is survived by his: wife-Beatriz Kaun Aguirre; his daughters: Elizabeth Padilla, Nancy Lopez; his grandchildren: Isabel Lopez, Adrian Lopez, Mia Padilla, Roman Padilla. His siblings; Zoila Valles, MaryAnn Moreno, Johnny Aguirre, Jessie Aguirre, Linda Ann Aguirre, Lucy Rios.

He is preceded in death by his parents. His father Manuel Aguirre Sr. & his mother Guadalupe Rios.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Tx. Friday, December the 27th at 11am, burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
