Manuel Gonzales, 56, of Little Elm, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. He was born on May 7, 1957 in Knox City, Texas to Leobardo Gonzales and Jesusa Resendece Gonzales. He married Mary F. Martinez in McKinney, Texas in 1976.

A family ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 5-6 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Mary Martinez Gonzales; daughter, Sandra Lopez; sons, Joel Gonzales, John Mark Lopez, and Manuel Gonzales, Jr.; sisters, Soyla Magana, Tomasa Villanueva, Christina Gonzales, and Syvia Gonzales; brothers, Leobardo, Ralph, and Jessie Gonzales; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents.
