Manuel (Manny) McClain Ott, 62, of Denton, Texas passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 14, 1956 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Willie S. and Francis Faye (Greenwood) Ott. Manuel married the love of his life Denise Thomas on September 15, 1978. He served in The U.S. Navy (1973-1977).

Manny was active in Denton Boys Baseball, Denton Youth Soccer, and was a Denton Police Reserve Officer for ten years.

Manuel is survived by his wife Denise, daughter, Sheila Stell and husband Toby of Ada, OK., five sons, Brian Ott, Michael Ott, Chase Duncan, Branden Uland, and Bradley Piekarski all of Denton, TX., brother, Larry Ott of Farmers Branch, and seven grandchildren, Kassandra, Dakota, Rylan, Chance, Charlie, Rylie, Camden, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Francis Ott, and siblings, Virgil Ott, Joy Bohanan, Bill Greenwood, Angie Igo, Sam Ott, and Dwayne Ott.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation at 1:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
