Marcia Ann Merrifield, 65, of Denton went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2016. She was born on June 19, 1951 in Denton, Texas to Roy and Mary Earles.

Marcia was a very caring sister, niece, cousin but most of all a loving mother. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Ponder.

Marcia is survived by her son Gregory Merrifield, sister, Anita Arnett both of Denton, uncle, Layne Wilkerson, cousins, Phyllis Neely, Susan Snow, Don Nichols, Dale Nichols, Dean Bryant, niece, Angela Billing, nephew, Tim Arnett, special friend, Rhonda Spears and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 13, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be Thursday 10:00 A.M. July 14, 2016 at Prairie Mound Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family has requested that memorial be made to a charity of your choice.
