Margaret Ann Buckley's Obituary

Margaret Ann Buckley, 92, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019.  Born in Houston, Texas to William Minter and Lottie Schneider, she graduated from Cy-Fair HS.  She was an executive secretary for Gates Rubber Company and later Gulf Oil.  Margie was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, belonged to Garden Oaks Baptist Church, Houston and recently attended Hickory Creek Baptist Church, Denton, Texas where she has resided since 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred Minter and husband of 53 years, Thomas Buckley.  She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Posen of Albuquerque, NM, sons; Thomas Buckley, Jr and Mitchell Buckley and wife, Joanie of Denton, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.  The family wishes to thank her loving caregivers at Willow Bend Assisted Living and Hospice Plus.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4-6 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 10:00 AM.  A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
