Margie Faye Thomas, 91, passed away on November 11, 2013 in Corinth, Texas. She was born in Byers, Texas on July 21, 1922 to Betty Zane Davis and Joseph Aaron Warren.

On October 15, 1939 she married James Dean Thomas in Fort Worth, Texas where they raised four children. In 1963 they moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma where Margie lived for over forty years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1976. Margie loved being with her family, traveling, gardening and watching her OU Sooners. She retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and was a member of the Nicoma Park United Methodist Church. Her family includes her four children, Carole Horn of Denton, Texas and her late husband Joseph Horn, Joe Thomas and his wife Patsy of Oklahoma City, Kelli Whisenhunt and her husband Rick of Denton and Tim Thomas of Oklahoma City; her sister Betty Jo Kilgore of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma and brother Davis Warren of San Antonio and her late brother James Warren. Margie also has five grandchildren, Allison, Amy, Stacey, Claude and Kirk, and eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons.

A service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 12:30 pm at the Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Midwest City, OK.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Corinth Rehabilitation Suites who were so very caring and thoughtful during the last eleven months of Margie's life.
