Margye E. Morris, of Denton, passed away in Pilot Point, Texas on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center. She was born in Handley, Texas on April 11, 1929 to Edward and Goldia Cox. She married her high school sweetheart ,Chester Morris Jr., on July 14,1946. Margye enjoyed reading, bowling, camping, and cooking . She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Chester Morris Jr., infant son James Earl Morris, daughter Sheila Richardson, son Chester Morris lll, daughter Karyn Underhill, her sisters Mary Kile and Dorothy Kiker and grandson Stephen Richardson.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 29, 2023. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with interment following at 2:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Park in Fort Worth. Pallbearers will be, Chris, Brent, Matt, Jordan and Collin Morris and Russell Franklin. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Morris and Stephen Richardson.

Margye is survived by her son Kyle Morris and wife DeAnn of Aubrey, son Mike Morris and wife Diane of Corsicana, daughter in law Karen Morris of Denton,  grandchildren Stacy Franklin (Russell), Matthew Morris (Tina), Jordan Morris (Tammie),Collin Morris (Ashli) , Mary Morris (Evan) Brent Morris (Leeann), Chris Morris (Brandi), Hollie Morris (Greg)  Amy Jones (Jeremy), Lori Claytor (Scott) Michael Morris (Amber) and Mindi Cary, along with 29 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
