Maria C. Grove, age 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2021, in Denton, Texas, with her beloved children at her bedside. Maria had been fighting COVID since December 2020, and in the beginning of January, she won the fight against the dreadful virus. However, due to post COVID symptoms taking a toll on her lungs, she was diagnosed with lung fibrosis and her lungs just weren't strong enough to fight any longer.

She was born in Monterrey N.L Mexico, to Fidencio Hernández and Juana Zapata on May 3, 1954. Maria enjoyed spending quality time with her family and loved to cook, clean and make sure her family never went without anything. She loved her friends and helped many people throughout her lifetime. She never met a stranger, and loved helping people. She adored her little dogs and was so thankful for the house she and her loving son Lindal lived in together. Maria was proud of and thankful for her daughter Jennifer who always took good care of her.

Maria worked many years at the Sally's Beauty Supply Warehouse, in Denton, Texas, and worked for TRCA phone systems where she helped open an AT&T Department. Later, Maria retired from TARGET in Lewisville, Tx.

She is preceded in death by her parents and Brothers:

Margarito Garcia, of Monterrey, N.L Mexico, and Julian Hernandez, of San Antonio, Tx. Husband, Lindal C. Grove Jr., of Denton, Texas, and her son Joshua C. Grove, of Denton, Tx. Grand babies, Jacob Grove and AnaMaria Paz.

Maria is survived by her daughter,  Jennifer Paz, and son in-law Francisco Paz. Son, Lindal C. Grove III, and 6 Grand daughters all from Denton, Tx.
