Maria Delsocorro Puente was born on November 5, 1934 to Eulalio and Antonia Campos Esquivel. She was married to the late Antonio Puente. She was a retired school teacher.

She is survived by her sons; Antonio Puente, Jr of Denton and Abel Puente of Denton and several grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6-8PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. She will later be interred by her husband,  at Panteon De Delores Cemetery in Acuna Coahulia, Mexico.
