Maria Martina Suarez took her final breaths on 12-30-2024. She was born on 2-7-1965 in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas to Guadalupe Martinez and Jose Rual Suarez. She lived in Mexico most of her life until she married and moved to Denton, Tx in 1985. Maria later divorced 13 years later and continued to work and raise her kids here in Denton. She spent most of her life working and caring for others.

Maria was very kind, loving, selfless, and proud. She volunteered for many years with Denton ISD and received an award from Robert E. Lee Elementary. Maria's most cherished job by far was work as a janitor for Denton County. She could be seen most days walking to work, church, or just about anywhere in town. Maria loved to cook, garden, shop, and an occasional visit to Winstar. She battled most her life with diabetes, and other ailments that she ultimately succumbed to.

A small private celebration of life was briefly held on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024.
