Maria Victoria "Vicky" Negrete, devoted wife, loving mother, caring friend, went on to be with our Lord and Savior on December 18, 2020. Vicky will join her parents, Elias Mendoza and Natividad Castañeda and rejoice in the glory of our Lord.

Vicky was born in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico. She was an alumna of Academia Amado Nervo. She later moved to Texas where she met her husband, Jorge Negrete. The two were married on April 3, 1985. Vicky was a member of Iglesia Sobre La Roca church in Krum, TX. She was a member of the cafeteria staff at Ryan High School.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December, 26, 2020 from 9 - 10:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, funeral services will begin at 10:00 am in the Chapel.

Vicky is survived by her husband, Jorge Negrete of Denton, TX, sons, Jorge. O. Negrete and Abraham Negrete, daughter, Adriana Negrete, sisters, Juanita Mendoza, Alma Mendoza, brothers, Victor Mendoza, Esteban Mendoza, Raymundo Mendoza, Eliseo Mendoza, Jr, Julio Mendoza and one grandchild, Jason Negrete.
