Marie Pearl Bradshaw, 87, of Denton, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born on July 19, 1925 in Sanger to Willie E. George and Stella Ora Newland George. She married James Loran Bradshaw in Denton on January 25, 1946. He has preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Singing Oaks Church of Christ in Denton with Ross Thomson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Linda Brannan and husband Steve; son, Tim Bradshaw; sisters, Alta Wilkins and Stella Barton and her husband Troyce; 5 grandchildren, Steve Brannan, Jr., Jeff Childers, Jerry Childers, Tylee Cowart and husband Chad, and Loran Bradshaw; and 3 great grandchildren, Blake Cowart, Gavin Cowart, and Jesse Brannan. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, W.E. George and Stella Newland; daughters, Donis Bradshaw and Patsy Childers; son, James Weldon Bradshaw; and brothers, Merle, Harold, and Chester George.
