Marilyn Cardamone was born May 22, 1949, in Brownsfield, Texas. Marilyn left this earth to be with her precious Lord and Savior, September 30, 2024. Marilyn was the "real Deal". She was selfless. She only thought of others her entire life. She adored Jesus. She taught others about Jesus. Her most fervent prayer was that her entire family come to love Jesus as much as she did.

She worked for many years for MARTUS book store in Denton, a job she loved, while working for her dear friends, owners Joe and LInda Davis who were like family to her.

Her sweetness brought others into her life that became family to her. Pastor Matt Liberio, his wife Allyson Liberio, their children Maddie, Cameron and Brooklyn were also members of her extended family. She treasured and looked forward to every minute that she was able to spend with the Liberio's.

Marilyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Denton for many decades. She was also a Sunday School teacher for all of those years.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, father, Norris Lewis, mother, Louise Neal Lewis, her nephew Brent Lewis and her husband of fifty years, Michael Cardamone.

She is survived by her son Jason Neil Cardamone, brother Norris Lewis who was preceded in death by his wife Venita, her brother Gene Lewis and his wife Vivian, cousins Terri Neal, Cheryl Birdwell and husband David, nieces Valerie Kendrick, Jennifer Lewis Olufsen, and Natalie Lewis-Willie.

Memorial service for Marilyn will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Denton.
