Mario Rene Gonzalez passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Denison, Texas at the age of 62. He was born in Brownsville, Texas to Eliseo and Maria Gonzalez on April 7, 1957. In the late 80's, Mario worked for Boeing a Sheet Metal Mechanic at their Wichita, KS site. He enjoyed life by racing motorcycles, playing guitar, and his ultimate past-time of fishing on the South Texas Coast. He is preceded in death by his father, Eliseo Gonzalez, Sr.

A celebration of Mario's life will be held Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors.

Mario is survived by his two sons, Rene (37) and Christopher (32) and his daughter Valerie (29) as well as his five grandchildren, Mariana (11), Elena (10), Maia (3), Stella (2), and Luka (1). He is also survived by his mother, Maria Gonzalez, brothers Eliseo Jr., Sam, Steven, and Tommy and his sister Norma.
