Obituary

Marjorie Inez Coverston, 96, of Denton passed away on October 13, 2017 in Denton, Texas. She was born on May 14, 1921 to Joseph and Ethel (Smith) Pearce in DeQueen, Arkansas.

Inez was an RN for 40 years. She loved to play golf, entertain, and travel. As well, she loved her Dachshund Humphrey. One of her favorite places was the Hawaiian Islands. She lived many of her years in California, Oklahoma, and then Texas. For a period of time, she lived near Mammoth California in the Sierra Mountains. She owned and operated a Travel Trailer Rental business while living near Mammoth along with her husband William Coverston. She met William while running her own Donut Shop in Santa Clara California and was married for 45 years.

Inez was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William M. Coverston, and by her parents Joseph A. and Ethel Pearce, and also by her precious grand parents Samuel Edward Lee Smith and Louisa Jennetta Smith.

Inez is survived by her daughter, Jennette L. Sanches, son-in-law, Albert N. Sanches, stepdaughters, Kathryn Coverston, and Susan Ragan, son-in-law Bill Ragan, stepson Douglas Coverston, and daughter-in-law, Mary Coverston. She has 14 grand children, 39 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grand children. She will always be loved.
