Mark Edward Pearce, Sr., 64, of Sanger passed away on October 14, 2021 in Denton. He was born on March 7, 1957 in Canyon, Texas to Arthur and Ruth Pearce (Mathews).
Mark attended Amarillo High School. He was a PF in the United States Marine Corp from 1975-1978. He was a tank gunner. Mark graduated from Cooke County College School of Nursing in 1983. He was an LVN. Mark worked 12 years at Denton State School, 11 years at Skyview Living Center, and 5 years at Longmeadow Healthcare Center.
Mark and Kim were married on July 14, 1979. They enjoyed, fishing, camping, and riding Mark's Harley. Mark attend the Church of Christ in Sanger. Mark loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his family, and his country. He was happiest when with his family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; daughter, Leigh Brown of Denton; sons, Mark Pearce II and wife Sylvia of Denton, Christopher Pearce and fiancé Bailey of Sanger; brother, Kenneth Pearce of Michigan; step-sister, Gloria Smith of Aubrey; and five grandchildren, Seth, Anna, Talyn, Liz, Aries.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Ruth and Manor Cooper; father and step-mother, Arthur and Jwell Pearce; and mother-in -law, Dorothy Bradshaw.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 1-2PM at Sanger Church of Christ, in Sanger, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 at the church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
