Mark Lyle Young, Jr., of Denton, TX, passed away on 1 November 2022 in Denton. He was born on 2 August 1976 in Amarillo, TX, to Mark and Joylene Young.
Lyle was a happy, curious, and loving child – attributes that followed him into adulthood. He had an abiding passion for music, a love of nature, curiosity and an interest in esoteric and philosophical matters.
Although a lifelong Texan, as a child and young man, he moved frequently with his family and has lived in many places including Virginia, Iowa, New Mexico, Georgia, and Germany.
He graduated from Heritage High School in Conyers, GA.
He worked for a number of years for Josten's in Denton. At the time of his death, he was employed by CVS Pharmacy in Denton.
He passed away unexpectedly after being hospitalized for pneumonia.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Joylene Young of Denton; daughter, Isabel Young of Huntsville, AL; sisters, Amanda Mefford and her husband Jake, nephew Cameron of Fleming Island, FL and nephew Caleb of Tallahassee, FL; Lindsey Young, partner Jade Bolli and nephew Ian of Springfield, MO; Emily Young of Denton; and close friend Amanda Brown and her children, Madison and Hunter of Denton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 12 November 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Denton Community Food Center (www.Dentoncfc.org) in Lyle's name would be appreciated.
