Obituary

Marlene Lee Maynard, 59, of Justin, Texas passed away on May 18, 2022 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Llano, Texas to Bert and Bernice (Olson) Crabtree. She Graduated from Llano High School and received a degree in Eary Childhood Development at Tarleton State University. She worked for numerous places throughout her lifetime the most recent was working for Gieco. Her hobbies include Shopping with her favorite daughter, watching TV and Movies with the family and playing games such as candy crush, solitaire and many more. She loved spending time with her family, and she attended many church gatherings where she met lifelong friends. She was very loving, kind and compassionate to everyone who came into her life and treated everyone like family.

She is survived by her husband, Neil Maynard, daughter Madie Maynard, her mother, Bernice Crabtree, Of Llano Texas, brothers, Marvin Crabtree and wife Jo of Junction, Texas, Vernon Crabtree and wife Jessica of Austin, Texas and Bert Crabtree and wife Jennifer of Justin, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bert Crabtree and her brother, Wayne Crabtree.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 5:00 PM, friends are welcomed to visit with the family following the service. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Llano City Cemetery un Llano, Texas at 2:00 PM.
