Obituary
Marlene Woodward Runte, 73, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016, at her home in Denton, Texas. She was born October 23, 1942, to Howard and Violet Carlsward Woodward in Anderson, Indiana.
Marlene married Lawrence Runte September 3, 1963, in Vero Beach, Florida. Marlene was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Vero Beach and attended Indian River Community College.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Marlene is survived by her husband Lawrence Runte, and sons Jeffrey Runte and Timothy Runte (Dawn). Siblings: Sharon Runge (Peter), Jeanne Stiteler (Jerry), and James Woodward (Patricia), as well as three grandchildren.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
