Obituary

Marna Jo Laurito passed away peacefully at her home in Denton, Texas, on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 9th, 1964, to Robert and Sheila (Sherman) Kelley. Marna graduated from South Ripley high school in 1982. On May 10th, 1986, she married Lou Laurito in Addyston, Ohio.

Marna had two great passions in life. The first was her relationship with Jesus Christ. She was known as a person of prayer that loved sharing with others all that God had done in her life. Marna was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God and loved to worship next to her family every week. Secondly, she was passionate about her family and friends. Marna lived to be with her children and grandchildren, for they were her pride and joy. Marna never knew a stranger. Her friendly personality and genuine love made everyone she was around feel like "family." Marna had a gift of encouragement and always knew how to make you feel special. Marna's legacy lives on through all the lives she touched with the love of Christ.

She is survived by her son Timothy Laurito and wife Aimee of Denton, Texas. Daughter Aubrey Linan and husband Misael of Fort Worth, Texas. Sister Kathy Kelley of Wentechee, Washington. Brother Tim Kelley and wife Susan of Springfield, Virginia. Cousins Bob and Nancy Robertson and Jo Carpenter. Five nieces and nephews; Kelly Mastin, Ian Smith, Kyle Smith, Sarah May, and Matt Kelley. As well as five grandchildren; Judah, Asher, and Adon Laurito, Alanna, and Malachi Linan.

Marna is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Melissa Whewell, uncle Dale Harris, aunt Bobbie Jo Harris and Cousin Sheila Harris Thacker.

Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God in Denton on Friday, November 12, 2021. Funeral services will also be held at Faith Tabernacle on Saturday, starting at 10 AM. Marna will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.

2 Timothy 4:7–8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge,

shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
