Obituary
Martha Louise King, 89, of Denton, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012. She was born on February 5, 1923 in Dublin, Texas to George Oliver Chumbley and Mattie Jane Hancock Chumbley. She married Harold Vernon King in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Martha is survived by her nieces and nephews, Weldon Chumbley, Elton Wayne Gray, Billy Gray, Claudine Walsworth, Violet Stanton, Donna George, George Chumbley, Steve Chumbley, Judy Jost, and Janice Ratliff; and her sister, Betty Jo Hodge. She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Tommy Harold King; parents; sisters, Loree Caruthers, Lucille Byrom, and Bessie Gray; and brothers, Orval Chumbley and Pete Chumbley.
