Martha Lambert, 90, of Denton passed away on August 11, 2018 in Plano, Texas. She was born in Mineola, Texas to John T. and Willie Mae (Wilson) Whitfield.

She is survived by her daughters; Sharion Brockett of Plano, Rita York of Aubrey and Ava Kasich of Whitesboro. Son, Odell Brockett of Aubrey, sisters, Mary Sims and Willie Pearl Wittle, brothers; Thurman Whitfield and Charlie Whitfield and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Merle Lambert, daughters, Tallene Josephine Brockett, Brenda Sue Brockett, sons Herschel Brockett, Ronnie Brockett, her mother and father, sisters, Vera Sims, Gertrude Patterson, brothers; J.T. Whitfield, Bob Whitfield and Dave Whitfield.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 1-2PM at Full Gospel Church in Denton. Services will begin at the Church at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Jack Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
