Martha Novell Johnson, 78, of Justin, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. She was born on February 13, 1934 in Haskell, Texas to Johnny Lawson and Vera Stone Lawson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord, TX and was a retired Nursing Aid.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 5-7 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Sage Meadow Christian Fellowship in Justin. Burial will follow at Justin Cemetery.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Loretta Johnson, Karen Hill and husband Jimmy, and Pam Johnson and husband Joel; sons, Floyd Johnson and wife Diana, Ronny Johnson and wife Pam, James Johnson, and Tony Johnson and wife Lynda; sisters, Lucille McCash, Wanda Hill, Dean Shermer, and Corrine Reynolds; brothers, Charles and Clarence Lawson; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and former husband, Ervin Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Johnson; and grandson, Franklin Johnson.
