Martin Edward Miller, 78, of Denton passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 in Denton. He was born May 3, 1941 in Vallejo, CA to Louis Edward Miller and Bonnie Hedrick Miller. He graduated from Odessa High School and enlisted in the U.S Army, where he served on the rifle team and in Germany. He married Mary Allen on March 7, 1969 in Denton. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church and a member and instructor at Junior Optimist Club. He had retired from Xerox.
Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church with Rev. Randy Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. Pallbearers will be Robin Williams, Jerry Don Sprayberry, Phil Moreino, Preston Moreino, Don Brown, Greg Armor, Dallas Stevens, and Gerald Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Denton; Sons, Jeffrey Miller and wife Dallas of Sanger TX, Ernest Wallace and his wife Sally; Daughter, Jennifer Mayfield and granddaughter Aliyah of Denton; Grandsons, Christopher Miller (Krystal) and Chase Miller, and great granddaughters Stella and Keeley Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bonnie Miller and great grandson Cameron Miller.
