Obituary
Mary Annis Adams, 89, of Denton passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Denton. She was born January 29, 1925 in Branchville, Texas to Herman Voss and Lula Bell Chamberlain Harlan. She married Larkey Towery on August 14, 1945 in Hearne, Texas. He preceded her in death. On June 11, 1965, she married William Max Adams in Fort Hood, Texas. He preceded her in death.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Annis Crawford of Denton and Kip Eads of Carrollton; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, John L. Towery, sister, Sara White, brothers, William Chamberlain and Herman Harlan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Faith Presbyterian Hospice Caring Fund, 6100 Colwell Blvd., Suite 225, Irving, Texas 75039, 214-413-1577 or www.prescs.org/foundation.
