Mary Weathersby Brumbaugh went home to be with the Lord February 14, 2021. She was born in Camilla GA December 21, 1944. She was the daughter of James Keaton and Hilda Weathersby. Mary was born into a large family and was blessed with 7 brothers and sisters she dearly loved. She is survived by her husband Don, two beloved children, three grandchildren, two brothers and her four best friends, her sisters.

Mary was gifted in many ways. She was beautiful with a kind and gentle spirit. She was a leader, a talented artist, and had an eye for beauty. Her love of reading and appreciation of the beauty around her never left her. Mary dearly loved children and they loved her. She came to know the Lord at an early age and grew in love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Her love of the Bible was inspirational to all those who knew her. She never passed up an opportunity to share God's love with people in a humble way. She was never overbearing but always considerate of others' feelings. She was greatly Blessed by GOD.

Mary and her husband Don were married for over 48 years. As he had been a Navy pilot and later an airline pilot, she had the opportunity to travel to many places. She enjoyed the museums, art galleries, and majestic churches in London, Paris, and Amsterdam. She loved living on and vacationing on the beaches in Florida. Most of all, she enjoyed car trips around Texas with her family. She loved God and loved her family.

It seems only fitting for such a godly woman that she passed from this life on Valentines Day. For, GOD so loved Mary that He took her to her Eternal Heavenly home. She was a Blessing to all who knew her!

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will be held at a later date at the DFW National Cemetery
