Mary Catherine Elkins, 85 of Oklahoma City, formerly of the Denton area, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital North. She was born May 27, 1929 in Ponder to Samuel Chester Gotcher and Hattie Stallings Gotcher. She married Bobby Jones Elkins in April 1957. She was an Administrative Assistant for Hertz Rental Corporation prior to retirement.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors for visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Eakins Cemetery in Ponder with Rev. Kim Broadstreet officiating.

Mrs. Elkins was preceded in death by her husband Bob and is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Smith of Yukon, OK and Susan Muir of Oklahoma City, OK; son Scott Elkins of Yukon, OK; son-in-law, Tom, daughter-in-law, Kelly, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a sister; a brother; sister-in-law; brother-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.
