Mary Jo Fisher was born October 23, 1948, and joined her parents Lorence and Pauline Becher in her final resting place July 9, 2014. Her life revolved around her children, Jamie Cogdell (husband - Danny) of Denton, Jason Fisher (girlfriend - Colleen) of McKinney and her three precious grandchildren, Kensey, Colton and Cash Cogdell. She is also survived by her brother Donnie Becher (wife-Kim) of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Raised as an Iowa farm girl she moved to Krum, Texas in 1990, and later to Denton. She worked at Farmers and Merchants State Bank in Krum from 1990-1997 followed by several years at the Communications Workers of America Local 6171. Mary Jo never met a stranger and had many friends some of whom she considered extended family. She loved being with family and friends, going to movies, and spending time with her grandchildren who called her Meme. Her last few years were physically difficult at best, including a third kidney transplant, but her positive spirit never wavered. Everyone who knew Mary Jo was truly blessed.

A celebration of life memorial service for Mary Jo will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Deberry Funeral Home in Denton, TX at 5:00 p.m.
