Mary (Sue) Edna Jackson, 73, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2022, in Dallas Texas. Sue was born on December 5, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas to Louise Clark Thomas and Richard Thomas.

Sue grew up and graduated high school in Cooper Texas.  She met and married the love of her life, Boyce Ray Jackson on June 1,1968. Sue was a dedicated Christian who loved the Lord and told everyone she knew about his saving grace. Sue loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, embroidering, and cooking. She especially enjoyed Christmas and baking for everyone. She will be remembered for baking all of her candies & goodies for her family, friends, churches & co-workers. She also loved watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and University of Alabama.

Sue is survived by her daughters Tracey Jackson and Mark Councilman of Arlington, Texas, Kimberly and her husband, Rev. Randy Franklin of Forney, Texas and her two Granddaughters Katie Aaron and Hannah Franklin. Her beloved Aunt Ruby Jackson, who was more like her sister. Brothers Kenneth Bangs and Rick Thomas. Sister Joyce Dean & her Aunt Murleen Clark.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Boyce Ray Jackson. God took him home on Feb. 2nd & after 53 years of marriage Sue was ready to be reunited with him in Heaven.  Her parents Richard Thomas, Louise Clark Cook and her beloved grandmother Edna Clark. Brothers Jerry Cook and Butch Thomas. Sisters Betty Swaim and Jean Cook. Her uncle James Clark.

A celebration of life service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Thursday May 26, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. Rev. Randy Franklin will be officiating.
