Mary Ruth Meinen Lantrip, 89, of Pilot Point, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013. She was born on September 11, 1923 in Denton to Herman Meinen and Dora Phipps Meinen. She married Thurman Ralph Lantrip on January 26, 1942 and was a member of the First Rock Baptist Church in Aubrey all of her life. She enjoyed cooking for the family, traveling, going to garage sales, and flowers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 3-5 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 1:00 pm at First Rock Baptist Church in Aubrey with Rev. Chris Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery.

Mary is survived by her husband, Thurman Ralph Lantrip; sons, Billy and Tommy Lantrip; daughters-in-law, Mary Lantrip, Oleta Lantrip, and Becky Measan; sisters, Kathrine Brooks and Betty Sue Martin; 5 granchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Micheal Lee Lantrip; brothers, Louie and Ray Meinen; sister, Laverne Johnson; and one great grandchild.
