Mary Katherine Redfearn, 81, of Aubrey passed away on September 9, 2016. She was born December 15, 1934 in Pilot Point to Lloyd and Mary Jenkins. After a lengthy engagement of eight days, she was married to Glen Leyon Redfearn of Aubrey on February 19, 1952. She was a homemaker for many years, raising their four children. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Lofland and husband Robert of Rockwall, Cindy Yarbrough and husband Stacy of Aubrey, son, Tommy Redfearn of Rockwall, brother, Jerry Jenkins and wife Vickie of Sanger, two sisters, Sandra Miene and husband Paul of Krum, Gail Gibbs and husband Sonny of Pilot Point, sisters-in-law Faye Jenkins of Bald Knob, and Darlene Dunstun and husband Richard of Plano.

Mary Katherine was loved by her many grandchildren Patrick Lofland, Matthew Lofland, Jamie Katherine and husband Major Nick Whitaker, Bryan Redfearn, Tommy Glen Redfearn, Jack Redfearn, Bret Redfearn, Carla Grubbs, Mary Kassie Grubbs, Niki Henderson and husband Keith, Houston Grubbs and wife Cadyrose, Tamra Cardenas and husband Ricardo, and Tiffany Yarbrough.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Jason Lofland, Barrett Lofland, Sarah Lofland, Thomas Lofland, Caroline Whitaker, Wesley Whitaker, Nicholas Cardenas, Nancy Claire Henderson, Tyler Grubbs, Austin Grubbs, Taylor Redfearn, Anthony Redfearn, Christian Redfearn, Bryan Redfearn, and Zachary Redfearn.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen L. Redfearn, daughter Nancy Grubbs and husband Joe, daughter-in-law Kay Redfearn, brothers, Frank and wife Joy Jenkins, Billy Gene and wife Betty Jenkins, Danny Jenkins, and Joe L. Jenkins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Krugerville from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M., officiated by Sam Redfearn, with burial at Belew Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Lofland, Matthew Lofland, Jack Redfearn, Bret Redfearn, Houston Grubbs, Ricardo Cardenas, and honorary pallbearer Kyle Jenkins.

The family has requested memorials be made in Mary Katherine's name to the American Heart Association.
